I just wanted to clarify something I’ve noticed concerning posts by everyone’s favorite sook & city center creator hossam70. Hos is using the Islamic, or Hirjri calendar, which I noticed has been causing some confusion about his posts. Islamic years are called Hijra years because year one was the year during which the Hirjri occurred, or the prophet Mommad's emigration More..from Mecca to Medina. Thus each numbered year is designated either H or AH, the latter being the initials of the Latin anno Hegirae (in the year of the Hijra). This years date (2008), is the year 1429 AH. I noticed a lot of Hos’s posts are dated 1894(AH), causing some folks to belive he was making artistic interpretations of the past, 1894AD, when in fact, Hos’s grand design for the world is in about 465 years from now. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
